BRAINSTORM!

This was when we gathered in our classes to discuss what the main theme of our film would revolve on
we followed the method of using a mind map and started jotting down all the many plots we had seen throughout our lives and what we were most interested in portraying

From murder mystery to portrayal of bullying, we decided to incorporate the feeling of helplessness and isolation and what better way to portray someone going through such a thing, than to show an average student struggling from bullying in his normal life routine

First media project/Mock shoot

Our first project was on October 14th it was as a group in which we learned whether to use portrait or landscape to shoot a video and in order to understand the rule of thirds. my group members in this project were Fatima Iqbal, Taha Ali and Abdullah Ahtasham We were advised to make anything that had some dialogues and 180 degree rule in it and that's what we did. this short video is about how two students end up in a fight however they let go of their anger and decide to let go of the argument and end it as friends this entire video was shot in one of the grounds of our school campus with a Nikon D7500 camera. As it was our first home assignment we didn't use any external microphones to record the dialogues or any external sounds. As till that time we were learning how to use premiere pro so we were advised to do editing according to what we have learned so far. This project surely proved to be a learning point.

Photography

I took this picture in school by reducing the exposure
Photography plays a crucial role in how we immediately view something. Whether its an ad or promotion, a small blog post, or in today’s top headlines of well known media outlets. The urgency for quality imagery is one step closer in helping create a world with no labels. Quality does not just mean the skill in achieving some of the techniques of photography but also more importantly the subject and how it’s portrayed.
